Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Cannock and cover surrounding areas up to 10 miles. Travel for walks and drop-in visits is included within 3 miles; we will agree a supplement for journeys between 3 and 10 miles.
Is there a meet and greet before care starts?
Yes. We offer a free meet and greet so we can get to know you and your dog, discuss their routine and make sure the service is a good fit.
What is included with home dog boarding?
Boarding takes place in our home and includes walks, enrichment and overnight care. Please supply your dog’s usual food so their diet remains familiar.
Can you care for two dogs from the same household?
Yes. A second household dog is £25 extra per 24 hours for boarding and £5 extra for a shared walk.
What hours does overnight sitting cover?
Overnight sitting at your home runs from 7pm to 8am and includes evening and morning care. Any daytime care is quoted separately.
Do you offer shorter boarding visits?
Yes. Short home boarding has a minimum booking of two hours and costs £15 per hour.
Are bank holiday prices different?
Bank holiday bookings have a 25% supplement. Christmas and New Year care is quoted separately.
Will I receive updates while my dog is with you?
Yes. We provide regular updates with photos, so you can see how your dog is getting on.
Are you insured and trained in first aid?
Yes. The Fast and the Furriest is fully insured, and Ryan is Canine First Aid trained.
How do I request a booking?
Use our booking form with your preferred service and dates. All services are subject to availability, and we will get back to you to confirm the details.
